Luanda - The governor of Luanda, José Maria Ferraz dos Santos, on Friday here created a Provincial Technical Unit of Fight Against Poverty, to be co-ordinated by the deputy governor for the economic sector, Miguel Ventura Catraio, ANGOP has learnt.
A dispatch of the governor states that the mentioned unit has the responsibility of managing and monitoring district programmes in Luanda.
Organising implementation and upgrading plans and the relationship with social partners are also of the responsibility of the aforesaid unit.
The unit may also comprise deputy governors for the political and social spheres (assistant-coordinator) and for technical services and infrastructures, Juvelina Imperial and Carla Leitão Ribeiro, respectively.
