POVERTY: Kazakhstan harvest suffers due to drought

Farmers are concerned over a drop in agricultural production, the country's main export sector.

Kazakhstan's wheat farmers have suffered from drought that is affecting grain production, which has dropped by more than half.
An exceptionally dry summer has yielded a miserable harvest amounting to the loss of 600,000 hectares, according to figures.
Al Jazeera's Robin Forestier-Walker reports from the Kostanay region on Kazakhstan's northern border with Russia.
