TUBERCULOSIS (Bovine): Canada: Preston tasked with stopping bovine tuberculosis at RMNP

The federal and provincial governments have announced the appointment of a provincial co-ordinator with the mandate of eradicating bovine tuberculosis (TB) in and around Riding Mountain National Park.
Dr. Allan Preston, a Manitoba veterinarian who operates a grain and cattle farm near Hamiota, will assume the new role with the primary goal of eliminating bovine TB, which has wreaked havoc on wildlife and livestock herds near RMNP.
